Alternative Investment Solutions  - The Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) group provides a complete suite of fund accounting, fund administration, corporate administration, risk and credit services to institutional investors, hedge fund managers, private equity fund managers and real estate fund managers.

Hedge Fund Services. Along with a fully integrated straight-through processing technology platform, we provide the flexibility and responsiveness hedge fund managers demand. We offer a wide array of services throughout the entire net asset value (NAV) calculation process — from full integration with the client’s front office, to middle-office reconciliations, to integration with the back office — and can also tailor a service solution to meet our customers’ operational requirements. Private Equity Fund Services. We offer a broad range of solutions drawing on our in-depth expertise and experience with private equity-specific accounting, investor reporting, and portfolio/investment analysis practices. As with all of our alternative servicing capabilities, we back this specialized knowledge with a scalable, best-in-class technology infrastructure and proven process controls. Real Estate Fund Services. We have more than 100 specialists in our offices in North America, Europe and Asia who can provide a tailored single or multi-jurisdictional service to both small start-up funds and larger, more established firms. We also recently expanded our capabilities with the acquisition of Mourant International Finance Administration (MIFA) and offer a complete back-office solution to enable the effective and efficient operation of fund structures across a range of jurisdictions. Corporate Administration Services. Our recent acquisition of Mourant International Finance Administration (MIFA) expands our alternative asset services offering to include management and administration services for debt capital markets and structured finance vehicles, repackaging programs and bespoke corporate structures for large banks and institutional clients.

Institutional Investor Services (IIS) - Our master trust and custody operations services are centralized within our Institutional Investor Services (IIS) group. We have a long history of providing comprehensive investment servicing solutions to all types of institutional investors, and today our company is an acknowledged leader in serving this market.  Our broad range of resources brings together the investment service and support of public retirement funds, corporate pension plans, Taft-Hartley funds, financial institutions, endowments and foundations, and defined contribution plans all over the world. In delivering these services, we combine global consistency, with face-to-face relationships based on deep local knowledge of regulations, markets and cultures.

Investment Operations Outsourcing - With $7.9 trillion* in middle-office assets under administration, State Street is a recognized leader in providing customized investment operations outsourcing services for institutional asset managers. Our services cover all aspects of the trading cycle. Trade matching and settlement through performance and client reporting functions can be integrated easily into the full spectrum of accounting, custody and fund administration services that we offer to institutional investors around the world. We offer a set of core services, including transaction management, recordkeeping, reconcilement, corporate actions, data management and reporting. Through our value-added services, such as client reporting, performance risk management and collateral management, we work with each customer to create a solution that best fits their specific requirements.  We work in collaboration with our clients to go beyond their basic requirements and identify areas for improvement or new opportunities.

State Street Investment Analytics - Through 15 offices worldwide, we provide performance and analytics services to approximately 1,400 clients with asset volumes exceeding $10.3 trillion.** SSIA offers comprehensive services in performance, risk and strategic analysis that help customers monitor and measure the success of their investment strategies in any market and in any asset class, including alternative investments. SSIA offers a broad array of services in four major areas: Analytics, Risk, Compliance and Performance. Our timely analytical services facilitate investors' decision-making processes by demonstrating the performance of their investments relative to similar portfolios and alongside relevant market information and benchmarks.

Mutual Fund Services - Since being appointed to service the first US mutual fund in 1924, State Street has led the industry in delivering innovative, complete services including custody accounting, fund administration, shareholder recordkeeping, daily valuation and more for US mutual funds and collective investment funds of all types.  Today we service approximately 56 percent of the US mutual fund market, and State Street ranks among the world’s top investment service providers.

Wealth Manager Services - We provide flexible investment servicing solutions that are customized for the wealth management market. Our WMS team delivers outsourcing and investment servicing solutions for all areas of the wealth management market, including: Registered Investment Advisors and Wealth Managers, Trust Companies and Wealth Banks, Private Wealth Management Firms, Single- and Multi-Family Offices.
