Editor
Faiz Shakir - Faiz Shakir is a Vice President
at the Center for American Progress and serves as Editor-in-Chief of
ThinkProgress.org. He holds a B.A. degree in Government from Harvard University
and a J.D. degree from the Georgetown
Law Center.
Faiz has previously worked as a Research Associate for the Democratic National
Committee, as a Legislative Aide to Sen. Bob Graham (D-FL) on the Senate
Veterans Affairs Committee, and as a communications aide in the White House
Office of National Drug Control Policy. Faiz is co-author of Howard Dean’s
Prescription for Real Healthcare Reform, The Change We Need: What Britain Can
Learn from Obama’s Victory, and Fear, Inc: The Roots of the Islamophobia
Network in America.
Faiz has appeared on MSNBC, CNN, and C-SPAN, among other networks, and is a

Ben Armbruster - Ben Armbruster is National Security Editor for
ThinkProgress.org at the Center for American Progress Action Fund. Ben grew up
in Cleveland, Ohio
and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Ohio University
and a master’s degree in international relations from King’s College London.
Ben previously served as a national security research assistant at the Center
for American Progress and has also held research positions at Media Matters for
America; the Henry L. Stimson Center; and the Verification Research, Training
and Information Centre in London.
His work has been published in online and print outlets as well as various
international security journals.
Amanda Peterson Beadle - Amanda Peterson Beadle is an editorial
assistant at ThinkProgress.org. She received her B.A. in journalism and Spanish
from the University
of Alabama, where she was
editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper The Crimson White and graduated with
honors. Before joining ThinkProgress, she worked as a legislative aide in the
Maryland House of Delegates. In college, she interned at the Scripps Howard
Foundation Wire, the Press-Register (Mobile,

Clifton - Eli Clifton is a national
security reporter for ThinkProgress.org. Eli holds a bachelor's degree from Bates College
and a master's degree in international political economy from the London School
of Economics. He previously reported on U.S.
foreign policy for Inter Press Service, where he served as deputy Washington bureau chief.

Marie Diamond - Marie Diamond is a reporter/blogger for
ThinkProgress.org. She hails from the great metropolis of Temple, TX.
She holds a B.A. in political science from Yale and was a Yale Journalism
Scholar. Before joining ThinkProgress, she worked at West Wing Writers, a
speechwriting and communications firm. She has also interned for The American
Prospect and Sen. Dianne Feinstein, and has done development work in South Africa and Kazakhstan.
Josh Dorner - Josh Dorner is the Communications Director
for the ThinkProgress war room. He brings four years of experience heading up
communications strategy and media for all of the Sierra Club’s energy and
global warming work, as well as its other federal legislative campaigns and
political work. He also served as deputy communications director at the Clean
Energy Works campaign. Prior to Sierra Club, Josh worked as an account
executive at a PR firm that primarily served nonprofits, independent film
distributors, and other arts projects. Josh graduated from Grinnell College
with honors degrees in political science and French. He also holds a master of
science in European politics and governance from the London School of
Economics.
Matt Duss - Matt Duss is a national security reporter
for ThinkProgress.org at the Center for American Progress Action Fund. Matthew
holds a master’s degree in Middle East Studies from the University of Washington.
Prior to joining the center, he was a research intern for the Center for
Strategic and International Studies and a blogger for The American Prospect.

Lee Fang - Lee Fang is an investigative
researcher/blogger for ThinkProgress.org at the Center for American Progress
Action Fund. Lee is a lifelong resident of Prince George’s
County, Maryland, and holds a B.A. in
Government and Politics from the University
of Maryland, College Park. Previously, Lee interned with
ThinkProgress and worked as a researcher for Progressive Accountability. In

Zack Ford - Zack Ford is an LGBT researcher/blogger for
ThinkProgress.org at the Center for American Progress Action Fund. Prior to
joining ThinkProgress, Zack blogged for two years at ZackFordBlogs.com with
occasional cross-posts at Pam’s House Blend. He also co-hosts a popular
LGBT-issues podcast called Queer and Queerer with activist and performance
artist Peterson Toscano. An accomplished pianist, Zack has a bachelor’s in
Music Education from Ithaca
College, where he served
as student body president. His passion, however, is social justice education
and advocacy, having completed a Master’s in Higher Education Student Affairs
from Iowa State University
and helped to found the Central Pennsylvania LGBT Aging Network. He’s

Christy Goldfuss - Christy Goldfuss is the
Public Lands Project Director at American Progress. Prior to working for
American Progress, she was a legislative staffer for the House Committee on
Natural Resources, where she focused on policies and legislation affecting the
U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management. She first started
working on lands issues as the federal preservation advocate for Environment
America. As a television reporter in California
and Nevada,
however, Christy covered many stories from communities neighboring public
lands. Through telling those stories, she became interested in lands policies.

Zaid Jilani - Zaid Jilani is a Senior Reporter/Blogger for

Joe Romm - Joe Romm is a Fellow at American Progress
and is the editor of Climate Progress, which New York Times columnist Tom
Friedman called "the indispensable blog" and Time magazine named one
of the 25 “Best Blogs of 2010.″ In 2009, Rolling Stone put Romm #88 on its list
of 100 “people who are reinventing America.” Time named him a “Hero of
the Environment″ and “The Web’s most influential climate-change blogger.” Romm
was acting assistant secretary of energy for energy efficiency and renewable
energy in 1997, where he oversaw $1 billion in R&D, demonstration, and
deployment of low-carbon technology. He is a Senior Fellow at American Progress
and holds a Ph.D. in physics from MIT.
Alyssa Rosenberg - Alyssa Rosenberg is a culture reporter for
ThinkProgress.org. She is a correspondent for TheAtlantic.com and The Loop 21.
Alyssa grew up in Massachusetts and holds a
B.A. in humanities from Yale

Alex Seitz-Wald - Alex Seitz-Wald is a reporter/blogger for
