Wonder Woman, il cui nome umano è Diana Prince, è un
personaggio immaginario dei fumetti creato dallo psicologo William Moulton
Marston e dal disegnatore Harry G. Peters nel 1941. Nella sua patria, la
nazione insulare di Themyscira, il suo titolo ufficiale è Principessa Diana di
Themyscira. Quando si fonde con la società al di fuori della sua terra natale,
a volte adotta la sua identità civile Diana Prince. Nelle prime edizioni
italiane il personaggio veniva chiamato Stella. Prima eroina femminile della DC
Comics, è considerata una delle tre icone fondanti l'universo della DC Comics,
insieme a Batman e Superman. Il sito web IGN ha inserito Wonder Woman alla
quinta posizione nella classifica dei cento migliori supereroi dei fumetti, la
Top 100 Comic Book Heroes. Risulta 6ª nella classifica di Comics Buyer's Guide
«Le 100 donne più sexy dei fumetti» ed è stata nominata come il 20° più grande
personaggio dei fumetti secondo la rivista Empire. La supereroina della DC ha
avuto una trasposizione televisiva negli anni settanta in cui era interpretata
da Lynda Carter mentre nel 2017 è stata interpretata da Gal Gadot nell'omonimo
film, dopo esser già stata introdotta in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, ed
un'altra pellicola dello stesso anno intitolata Professor Marston and the
