Polish Your Kitchen – Pierogi, beet salad, cabbage rolls, bigos, kluski, kołacze, pickle soup or liver paste. Polish cooking has no secrets. Even though I’ve lived in the U.S. for the last 15 years, where I can savor any flavor of the world, I’m not willing to give up Polish food. It’s in my genes, it runs through my veins and it’s staying that way. This blog is a growing compilation of traditional Polish recipes, ones that almost every Polish home chef can make in their sleep. I also talk about my growing up in Poland when all there was in a grocery store was vinegar and when it all changed after the “transformation”. I hope you join me in cooking and reminiscing about Poland of yesterday and today.
