Family - Welcome to Ikaki Niwas! I am JD Rathore, owner of Ikaki Niwas. My family and I look after this home and the guests who come to stay with us. My father, Dr. Thakur G S Rathore, constructed this house about 40 years ago and recently it was refurbished and renovated with comfortable beds, new LCD televisions, and modern baths. Our family belongs to the royal Rajpoot community, and prior to India’s independence, our great grandfather was chieftain in the Bikaner state of Rajasthan. We are well-educated and we’ll be happy to share and discuss what we know about India over a cup of coffee or at the dinner table.

Food - My family and staff personally take care of all the guests who stay with us. Our meals are clean, hygienic, and prepared according to guests’ tastes in spices and curries. Our chef prepares delicious home-cooked vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. We even keep the kitchen open for guests to try their hands at Indian cooking!

Security - Jaipur is known as a very peaceful city, however, we still take the security of our guests very seriously. We have a 24/7 security guard for Ikaki Niwas, and at night the colony gates are closed to restrict access to strangers. This provides double security arrangements for guests staying with us.
