“Maurice Stockton has been drawing and painting
since age three. He studied art throughout his thirteen years at Isidore Newman School.
He received his BFA from Mississippi
State University
in graphic design and other emphases (other majors) in photography and
painting. He has shown regularly with artist organizations in the New Orleans area. He has
taught in the Jefferson Parish Talent Visual Art Program. His favorite media
are acrylic, colored pencil, graphite and watercolor. Also he works in collage,
mixed media, photography and video.”
